My name is Addi Catarina. I am a recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where I completed a BFA in Art Education and a minor in painting. I am a practicing studio artist, and spend most of my time painting, drawing, and making embroidery.
Besides making art, I enjoy hobbies like hiking, birdwatching, and playing video games. I love to spend time with my family, friends, and pets!

I have been practicing embroidery for over two years now. I am constantly trying out new projects and honing my skills.
Education
I am certified to teach Elementary Art in the state of Massachusetts (Kindergarten – 8th grade). I believe art education is the perfect way to share my love of art with others and make a positive impact on my students’ lives.
Painting
I discovered my love of painting about six years ago. I specialize in oil and acrylic, and prefer working on large panels as opposed to canvas. I often make paintings about my life and my family.
